You don't love me you just love my big 10"...chefs knife

Up at an ungodly hour to prep duck breasts for the weekend. Bleh.

Last night I consumed a vast quantity of delicious wine. The easy winner being the
Domaine Serene Grace Vineyard Pinot Noir.

Wow that was fantastic. Wright if you can get your hands on one DO IT. Very hard to get a hold of though.

Don't know if I like being a manager. Already having to deal with employee drama. Do like the money though.

Recently we were written up in the wall street journal as one of the last bastions of Fois Gras left in the country.

Started getting protest calls. hehehehe. My favorite. I am hoping Pamela Anderson calls though. I have some opinions for her.

Very cool that your establishment made the top of the list of places where foie gras reigns supreme.

One of the other places is in Big Sky, Montana, and I will be out that way later this summer. Maybe I'll do a little comparitive foie gras'ing. (Who am I kidding? I wouldn't know good foie gras from potted meat!). Er, "potted meat food product". Just kidding...

That pinot sounds good but it is quite "spendy", as my Montana homeboys would say. What vintage did you enjoy so much? I found it online at nearly $100 a bottle. Still, I might get one just to put away for a few years.

Enjoy your weekend and stay out of trouble, so to speak!

Chef: Foie Gras is the best. I'm glad you got good press. And to those protest calls, they don't know what they're missing. (Or I guess, more Foie Gras for the rest of us!)

Those animals were born and raised to be eaten. It's not like it was caught in the wild and didn't get a chance for a long and fulfilling life.

Silly, silly protesters.
