A reprise of my first date with Trouble
Saturday night I had a date with a woman I have only known a very short time. It actually went so well that it felt like it had been scripted. Conversation was easy and light and then easy and very heavy, but at all times easy.Instead of it being the nervous first date kind of experience, it was so intrinsically comfortable like we were old friends. I'm not going to go the ssg route and say that it felt like I've known her forever or anything ridiculous like that. But the comfort level I felt in her presence was absolutely enchanting and fascinating.
I brought wine and cheese of course. A red Cahors from france and a rose champagne. The wine and cheese were consumed over a rapid fire conversation. She has ADD like me and her mind flits just as fast as mine from topic to topic.
I kept putting off making the actual dinner, because as previously discussed and agreed to, there was to be no sex. Which I was fine with. But I was so enjoying myself that I was afraid if I finished making the dinner then our conversation would conclude and I would go home.
I could go into fairly good detail about the aspects of her appearance which I find most agreeable. But to be perfectly frank her very good looks and body are actually the very least of her qualities.
I have to admit I have never quite had a date like it in all my years. She is very intelligent, witty, thoughtful, caring, insightful and just a joy to be in the company of. I highly recommend you find someone like her to hang out with.
I am writing this now, because she has read my journal but has stated she will no longer. So now I feel ok about discussing her.
Spent the last 3 days having lunch with her. Some of the best meals of my life.
addendum: She has incredibly soft lips and is a fantastic kisser.
