Wine 101
I am off as it happens on Saturday. So what I am going to do is sit down and write up a decent essay on wine. Don't know if it will be grape specific or just touch on other topics. But the last post on wine was just off the cuff and I didn't like it. So I will do my best to rememdy the problems I saw in the post and get you something better to read either Saturday or Sunday.Thanks to everyone who responded so positively. I was not expecting such a repsonse froma thinly veiled wine rant. :-)

Hey, a virtual tasting event could be fun too!
Ever thought of suggesting a "wine of the week" to try and host comments on?
Might be worthwhile to consider... Or just another reason to drink more wine. Either way, it would work for me! :)
I actually have considered that. The only thing is I don't know if anyone would be into tracking down a wine I suggest just to comment on my blog about.
But if enough people are game to do it than I will set to it.
Please! A "care and feeding of" for wine and the unopened bottles thereof. For example- a common practice I've seen among non-wine people: After you open a bottle and have a glass, do you put the bottle in the fridge to "keep"?
